EGF Enclosed Ground Flares

The GBA EGF provides concealed flaring of waste gases that can be combusted smokelessly without the need for external utilities.  Thermal radiation emission is negligible and noise emission is very low permitting the EGF to be located close to existing plant.  Primarily an EGF provides the lowest possible flaring impact on the surrounding community with the flame concealed and the emitted noise levels are extremely low. Thus these units are often used in highly sensitive locations where open flaring cannot be tolerated on a continuous basis.

EGF units are often operated with an associated elevated flare to handle high relief flow conditions where lower day-to-day relief flows pass to the EGF.
