GBA is very fortunate to be able to say that as of today (1st April 2020) none of our employees have been afflicted by this dangerous contagion. Their safety & well-being is uppermost in our minds as well as complying with various government regulations & directives. At present the situation is as follows:- All UK & Italian based office staff are managing to work from home, fortunately we have in place systems & contingency plans which allow this and it is proving to be very effective. However, our factory in Italy is closed down and will likely remain so for at least the next two weeks, this is in compliance with Italian government directives. What does this mean for our clients? It means that Projects that are in the design and engineering phases are proceeding as normal but those that are in production in Italy will be subject to some delay which will be notified to you individually. Those projects which are in fabrication elsewhere in the world may also be affected to varying degrees, again these will be notified individually. These are extremely difficult times for all businesses but GBA remains financially strong and very much “open for business”.

UPDATE 1st June 2020
Having weathered what is hopefully the worst of the storm, GBA is approaching normality in most of our operations. Our factory in Parma is back working albeit with some restrictions, our office in Monza is virtually back to normal with just a few persons still working from home. In the UK we are still mainly home based but we expect to have a limited office presence soon subject to Government regulations.
